Redmi K60 Pro will get Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and 50 MP OIS camera based on Sony IMX8xx sensor
Xiaomi in the new generation of flagships Redmi K will abandon the 108 MP camera. At least in the Redmi K60 Pro.
Here's What We Know
The Pro version will be one of the three models of the next generation. It will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, while the Standard Edition and Gaming Edition will have Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processors, respectively.
In the Redmi K60 Pro, we won't see the 108 MP camera used in the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Ultra (pictured above). It will be replaced by a Sony IMX8xx sensor with 50 MP resolution. Probably we are talking about the image sensor IMX866. Optical stabilization will remain.
The presentation of smartphones Redmi K60 series is expected in early 2023. There is no information about prices yet. The current generation is represented by models Redmi K50, K50 Pro, K50 Gaming and K50 Ultra.
