Rumor: Apple will launch mass production of a mixed reality helmet in March 2023

The editorial staff of gg has repeatedly written that Apple is working on a branded mixed reality helmet. Now on the Internet there is information about when to expect the novelty.

Here's What We Know

According to DigiTimes, Apple is in the final stages of development of the device. If everything goes according to plan, production of the helmet will start in March 2023. It will be engaged exclusively by Pegatron. Novelty release should take place in the spring.

Flashback

According to leaks, Apple will call its AR/VR helmet Reality One. Novelty should get a Sony Micro-OLED display, different sensors, as well as support for Apple TV + and Apple Arcade services. The device will run on a proprietary chip and a special OS. Presumably, the helmet will cost around $2000-3000.
