In the database of the benchmark Geekbench Apple M2 Max processor appeared as part of a certain Mac 14.6.

Here's What We Know

To begin with, it's worth stating that the Mac 14.6 is only the designation of the device that passed the performance test, not the commercial name of the computer with a 14.6" display. In fact, it could be either a Mac Studio desktop PC or a MacBook Pro laptop.

According to data from Geekbench, the platform runs on the macOS 13.2 operating system and is equipped with 96 GB of RAM. The Apple M2 Max single-chip system has 12 cores and a maximum frequency of 3.54 GHz. The M1 Max chip supports up to 64 GB of RAM.

The result in Single-Core mode is 1,853 points and in Multi-Core it is 13,855 points. There is no information on what technology will be used to make the chip. For comparison, the 5nm Apple M1 Max with up to 3.22GHz in one of the tests scored 1,640 points (+13%) and 11,510 points (20%) in Single-Core and Multi-Core, respectively. At the same time, the M2 Max will increase the frequency by 10%.
