The Chinese regulator certified the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 200 MP and 108 MP cameras, but it's a mistake
Samsung is preparing for the presentation of the flagship smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra, and it has already been certified by the Chinese TENAA. But there is a nuance.
Here's What We Know
According to the Chinese certification bureau, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will get a main camera with a resolution of 200 MP + 108 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP. However, there is a mistake. And not just one, but two.
First, the new generation Ultra version will remain without a 108 MP sensor. Instead, a 10 MP sensor will be used. Secondly, the main camera will include only one 12MP module. Another 10 MP telephoto lens will be installed instead of the second one.
Thus, the resolution of the main camera in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be 200 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP + 10 MP. The main difference compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the replacement of the 108 MP sensor with a 200 MP sensor. In addition, the new generation of flagship will be able to record video in 8K UHD with a frame rate of 30 FPS.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 1 TB of internal memory and 8/12 GB of RAM. The battery capacity will be 5,000 mA*h, and the fast charging power will be 45W. Also the model will be equipped with a 6.8" diagonal AMOLED 3K display.
