Redmi 12C with MediaTek Helio G85 chip and 50 MP camera will be released on the global market as POCO C55

Xiaomi in late 2022 announced the budget smartphone Redmi 12C in China, and now is preparing the novelty for release on the global market.

According to insider and dataminer @kacskrz, the smartphone will be released outside of China under the POCO brand. The model will be called POCO C55. There is no information about when the presentation of the new items will take place.

As for the characteristics, they should be the same as those of the model for China. That is, the smartphone will get a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS display with a teardrop cutout for a 5 MP front camera. Also, the novelty will have a chip MediaTek Helio G85, a 5000 mAh battery and a main dual camera with a main sensor of 50 MP.
