The most expensive iPhone: Apple considers launching another top-of-the-range model alongside the Pro and Pro Max

Back in the autumn there were rumours in the media that Apple could release a new iPhone 15 Ultra instead of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in 2023. But in today's edition of the traditional Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's prediction has changed somewhat.

Here's What We Know

According to the journalist, Apple is still considering it, but the Ultra model is not likely to appear until 2024 at the earliest. That is, it could come in the iPhone 16 range or even later series.

Also, the iPhone Ultra won't necessarily be a replacement for the Pro Max version. Apple could add another high-end model to the Pro and Pro Max, which would cost more than them. To recap, the price of the current iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1099.

What will be different about the new version is not yet clear. Perhaps it will be additional camera improvements, a faster chip, a bigger display or, for example, a design without ports.
