Rumour: Huawei is preparing a foldable Mate X3 smartphone that will cost less than $1,500

Huawei has been working on the successor to the foldable Mate X2 smartphone for some time now. Now new details about the device have surfaced online.

According to a Chinese insider, the Huawei Mate X3 will cost less than 10,000 yuan (about $1,500). In comparison, the Huawei Mate X2 cost $2785 at launch.

In terms of specifications, the novelty will still get two OLED displays. In addition, the device will be equipped with an improved camera, as well as top-of-the-line Qualcomm processor without 5G support or the proprietary Kirin chip.

The Huawei Mate X3 is likely to be unveiled in March. The novelty will be shown together with the flagship line of smartphones Huawei P60.
