We know what the Xiaomi 13 Ultra with Leica camera will look like - first real photo of the flagship has been published
Xiaomi will unveil another flagship smartphone this semester. It will be called the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and will get a camera with Leica optics.
Here's What We Know
The first real photo of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been posted on Chinese social network Weibo, which is the Twitter counterpart. It showed what the upcoming new product will look like from the rear. Immediately eye-catching is the huge round main camera unit with Leica lettering on it.
The back side is finished in faux leather. An almost identical cover is fitted in last year's Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which also got a camera with Leica optics. You can see the 2022 model in the main image for the piece.
According to preliminary information, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will get a 50 MP Sony IMX989 sensor, a periscopic optical zoom module and a Samsung E6 AMOLED curved display. Xiaomi's next big unveiling will be at MWC 2023 in Barcelona at the end of February, but the next-generation Ultra version will be announced in the spring. And it's not certain that it will be available on the global market in the coming months.
