Honor unveils two mid-range smartphones with 200 MP cameras
Honor is also planning to release a smartphone equipped with a 200 MP camera. And two of them at once.
Here's What We Know
Despite the fact that sensors with resolution from 100 MP are constantly criticised, the number of smartphones equipped with such cameras is regularly increasing. There are now half a dozen models with 200 MP modules.
Samsung introduced a 200 MP sensor last year, but it only announced its first smartphone three weeks ago. It's the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Also in the 200 MP club are the Xiaomi 12T Pro, two variants of the Redmi Note 12, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and the Infinix Zero Ultra.
Honor is announcing two models equipped with Samsung's 200MP HP3 image sensor. They are codenamed Sunny and Mars. The smartphones are likely to be marketed as Honor 90, Honor 90 Pro and will become mid-range, as was the case with the other representatives of the number series.
