Rumour: Samsung Galaxy S23 FE gets last year's flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor
We recently wrote that Samsung is working on the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. Now, thanks to an insider, some details about the new product have surfaced online.
Here's What We Know
So, according to @OreXda, the Korean manufacturer is planning to install last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in the smartphone rather than the current one. We are talking about 4-nanometer SoC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. With this solution Samsung will be able to reduce the cost of the device.
The newcomer is also expected to have an AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a triple main camera. Some modules are likely to be the same as the Galaxy S23.
When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, there is no announcement date for the Galaxy S23 FE yet. Presumably, the novelty will be shown in the third quarter of this year.
