Xiaomi prepares Black Shark 6 and Black Shark 6 Pro gaming smartphones with 2K displays and top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

Xiaomi unveiled the Black Shark 5 gaming smartphones in March 2022 and is now preparing new models for release.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about the Black Shark 6 and Black Shark 6 Pro. According to Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, the new devices will be powered by the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The devices will also feature 2K resolution displays and a front camera hole in the centre. The devices' main camera will get a 64 MP Sony IMX686 sensor. It will be complemented by a wide-angle lens and a macro sensor. The new devices will also get stereo speakers, a cooling system and a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

When We Can Expect It

There is no official announcement date for the Black Shark 6 and Black Shark 6 Pro yet. Most likely, the devices will be unveiled in the spring.
