Xiaomi prepares to announce the POCO F5 on the global market

Xiaomi is announcing the POCO F5 smartphone this year. It was with the F range that the POCO brand began in 2018, then still called Pocophone.

The POCO F5 has hit the IMEI database. The regulator's website states that the smartphone has model number 23049PCD8G. Moreover, the device was registered in the database only a few days ago, on 22 February.

The last character in the model number indicates that the POCO F5 will appear on the global market. But few doubted that, because Xiaomi has been releasing global versions of the POCO F smartphones, starting with the Pocophone F1.

There is almost no information about the new generation model yet. Not even at the level of rumours. The only thing insiders are talking about is that the POCO F5 might get the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 processor, which has not been unveiled yet. The smartphone itself won't be unveiled until the second quarter of 2023 at the earliest.
