It's been five months since the launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 6D, but the Taiwanese company is preparing to unveil a new generation model. It's called the ASUS ROG Phone 7D.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone was tested in the Geekbench 5 benchmark today, March 10. The database indicates that the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB of RAM and runs the Android 13 operating system.

The Honor Magic 5 appeared in Geekbench 5 late last month. The Single-Core score was 1,490 and the Multi-Core score was 4,584. That's the standard score for most smartphones, but the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scores higher at 1,800 and 4,900 respectively.

And the ASUS ROG Phone 7D demonstrated that there's no limit to perfection, even if the new flagship-level processor won't arrive until the second half of the year. The gaming smartphone scored 2012 points in the Single-Core test and 5,697 points in Multi-Core mode. Compared to most models, that's a 33% and 22% increase respectively.
