Redmi Note 12 Turbo powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 beats Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in Geekbench
Xiaomi is announcing a new smartphone in the Redmi Note 12 family this month. It is called the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The model has undergone a performance test in Geekbench 5 and Geekbench 6.
Here's What We Know
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is one of the most interesting mid-range processors in recent years. It has a peak frequency of almost 3GHz and a new Adreno GPU graphics core, with a performance increase of one and a half times that of the last generation.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 managed to beat the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor, in Geekbench 5. But only in Multi-Core mode. The result was 3,972 points. In Single-Core, the smartphone scored 1,213 points.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo was also tested in Geekbench 6. In Single-Core and Multi-Core, the upcoming novelty managed to score 1,484 and 4,257 points respectively. The Xiaomi 12 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was not tested in Geekbench 6.
