Samsung's new foldable smartphones have appeared in the Geekbench performance test database.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5. The former comes with model number SM-F731U, while the latter is SM-F946U. The leak confirms that both smartphones will get an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy) chip. The exact same processor is found in the flagship Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices. The chip runs at a maximum clock speed of 3.36GHz.

The documents also say that the Galaxy Flip 5 clamshell will get 8GB of RAM and the Galaxy Fold 5 will get 12GB. Both devices will come preloaded with Android 13 operating system.

When We Can Expect It

There is no release date for the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 yet. Presumably, the new products will be revealed in August.
