A perforated screen, dual camera, four colours and a leather-textured back panel: high quality renders of the Motorola Edge 40 have surfaced online

We've written more than once that Motorola is working on the Edge 40 smartphone. Now insider @rquandt has published some quality images of the new product.

Here's What We Know

So, the smartphone will come in four colours: black, green, blue and Viva Magenta. Three of them will get a leather-textured back panel. There will be a display with a hole and rounded edges. Apart from this, the gadget will have a main dual camera. The sensors and LED flash will be mounted on a rectangular protrusion.

In terms of specs, the Motorola Edge 40 will come with a 6.55-inch POLED display, Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness. The Motorola Edge 40 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. Apart from that, the device will be equipped with a 4400mAh battery. It will get support for 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone will have a 50 MP + 13 MP main camera, a 32 MP selfie camera and IP68 protection.

When We Can Expect It

The Motorola Edge 40 will be released in the coming days. How much the novelty will cost is not yet known.

Incidentally, Motorola recently unveiled the flagship Edge 40 Pro smartphone with a 165Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a 4,600mAh battery with 125W fast charging support.
