Insider: Qualcomm working on Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor with new graphics and increased clock speed

Qualcomm is developing a new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, according to insider and dataminer @Za_Raczke.

Here's What We Know

The chip has the model number SM4450 and comes with the codenames Clarence/Ravelin. The first name refers to the hardware platform and the second refers to the software part.

The novelty will get the same cluster of cores as the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, but the cores will feature increased refresh rates: two 2.2GHz Cortex-A78 cores and six 1.95GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The insider also attributes the chip to new Adreno 613 graphics, LPDDR5 memory support and UFS 3.1. There is no information yet on when the processor will be released.
