Ming-Chi Kuo: 15-inch MacBook Air will only come to market with M2 chip

Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo continues to share details about the new 15-inch MacBook Air.

Here's What We Know

According to the informant, the device will not get a modification with the M2 Pro processor. That is, the laptop will hit the market with the M2 chip, but there will be two versions of the SoC: with 8 cores and 10 cores. Similar processor configurations are now available for the 13-inch MacBook Air.

As for other specs, the laptop will get a "monobrow" screen, MagSafe magnetic charging and a 1080p camera. How much the 15-inch MacBook Air will cost is not yet known. Incidentally, the 13-inch MacBook Air sells for at least $1199 in the US right now.

When We Can Expect It

It will be released at the WWDC 2023 conference in early June.
