Insider reveals pricing, memory configurations, colours and details of Google Pixel Fold smartphone
Front Page Tech insider and blogger Jon Prosser has declassified details of Google's foldable smartphone.
Here's What We Know
So, the Pixel Fold will get two displays: a 7.6-inch main display with 6:5 aspect ratio, 2208×1840 resolution and 380ppi, and an additional 5.8-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and 17.4:9 ratio. Both displays will have 120Hz OLED matrices.
The smartphone will feature a Tensor G2 processor. It will be paired with a Titan M2 security chip, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There will be five cameras in the device. A triple 48 MP main + 10.8 MP (wide-angle lens) + 10.8 MP (5x optical zoom telephoto lens), as well as two 9.5 MP and 8 MP front modules. The novelty will get a body with a weight of 283 grams.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Pixel Fold will debut at the Google I/O 2023 conference in early May. Pre-orders for the smartphone will open on May 10 and it will go on sale on June 30. The novelty will be sold in two modifications: 12/128GB for $1799 and 12/256GB for $1919. There will be two colours available: Chalk and Obsidian.
