vivo X Fold+ became the official foldable smartphone of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

After UEFA EURO 2020, vivo also sponsored the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The manufacturer announced this in a press release. This time, the Chinese brand became a sponsor in the smartphone category. We are talking about the vivo X Fold+ model. According to the company, the vivo X Fold+ is the first official foldable smartphone in the 118-year history of the International Football Association (FIFA).

Flashback

The vivo X Fold+ is an improved version of the regular vivo X Fold. The smartphone debuted in September. It has two screens: an 8.03-inch main screen with 2K resolution and an additional 6.53-inch screen. Both screens have AMOLED matrix and 120 Hz refresh rate. The novelty also got a 16 MP front camera, a 50 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP main camera, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of ROM and the Android 12 operating system.

The vivo X Fold+ runs on the top-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and is powered by a 4,730mAh battery. It supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
