The National Guard of Ukraine destroyed Russian equipment with the help of the 2S1 "Gvozdika" SAU, a drone and mortars
The National Guard of Ukraine published a video of the destruction of Russian equipment.
What we know
The video was shot in the southern area of Ukraine. National Guard artillerymen using an unmanned aerial vehicle were able to detect a number of enemy positions, personnel shelter, as well as several pieces of equipment.
Using mortars, Ukrainian artillery was able to destroy armored vehicles, including a tank, and a Russian command and control vehicle. An artillery unit 2S1 "Gvozdika" was used to attack the shelter for personnel and equipment. This is the world's first floating SAU on a tracked chassis.
2S1 "Gvozdika" is equipped with a 122 mm cannon. The artillery unit was created on the chassis of the MT-LB and is used for destroying fortifications, manpower and artillery batteries of the enemy. The SAU can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h on the highway and up to 4.5 km/h afloat.
