Czech AFU servicemen captured two Russian T-80BV tanks
Czech volunteers, who fight for Ukraine as part of the International Legion, captured two Russian T-80BV tanks.
What we know
The T-80BV tank is equipped with a 125mm 2A46M-1 Rapira smoothbore gun. It is horizontally and vertically stabilized. The ammunition kit includes 38 rounds.
Also the tank is equipped with 95112-1 Cobra and 9K119 Reflex missile systems. The vehicle is fitted with a twin 7.62mm PKT machine gun and a 12.7mm NSVT-12.7 Utyos anti-aircraft machine gun.
The T-80BV crew consists of three men. The tank weighs more than 43 tons. Maximum road and cross-country speed is 70 km/h and 50 km/h respectively. Cruising range is 570 km including external tanks.
Two destroyed BTR-82A armored personnel carriers can be seen on the video. Recently, the Ukrainian military was able to capture such an armored personnel carrier along with a Tiger-M vehicle.
