Poland receives modern British Sky Sabre air defense systems with CAMM missiles
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced the receipt of air defense systems Sky Sabre.

Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, new air defense complexes Sky Sabre were sent to Poland from Great Britain. According to the Minister of Defense, they will be able to guarantee the security of the country's airspace.
Sky Sabre become a replacement for anti-aircraft missile systems Rapier. Each launcher has eight anti-aircraft missiles CAMM. Girafferadar is also included in the Sky Sabre, it can track 24 targets simultaneously up to 120 km. Communication between the radar and anti-aircraft missiles is provided by data transmission system.
The weight of one missile CAMM is almost 100 kg. The maximum flight speed reaches 3700 km/h. The missiles are designed to destroy fighters, laser guided bombs and drones.
