Not just Bayraktars: Ukrainians and foreigners in just one week raised 400 million UAH for the "Army of Drones" for the AFU
In early July, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the United24 platform announced the launch of the "Drone Army" project. And now the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, has summarized the first results.
How much has been collected?
Recall that the program involves the systematic purchase, repair and replacement of drones, as well as a training course for operators. Ukrainians and people living in other countries can transfer money to the project or send their drones to the AFU.
According to Fedorov, people managed to raise for the "Army of Drones" 400 million UAH in just one week. "And this is just the beginning. We will help our heroes of the AFU systematically get drones for all lines of battle. You can't imagine the value of your contribution to victory. Thank you from the entire team," the minister said.
The Ministry also received the first drone sent from the United States. "It is fast and enduring. Which means it will definitely help our heroes from the AFU to see the enemies better. Thanks to all the people from abroad who also understand the importance of Ukraine's victory and contribute to it," Mykhailo Fedorov stressed.
