Cabinet of Ministers: They want to build a factory for the production of Bayraktars in Ukraine
On July 19 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine held a meeting at which Prime Minister Denis Shmygal spoke about Ukraine's cooperation with foreign partners.
What does it mean?
According to Shmygal, the government will send to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the ratification of the agreement between Ukraine and Turkey on cooperation in high-tech, aviation and space industries. And it will allow starting production of famous Turkish drones Bayraktar in Ukraine.
"Among other things, it will allow to build a factory in Ukraine to produce and service the famous Bayraktar drones" the Prime Minister stressed.
Unfortunately, other details were not disclosed in the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, the government approved the attraction of another $4.5 billion grant from the United States, and Denis Shmygal thanked the European Union for the decision to allocate the fifth tranche of 500 million euros to provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons.
"This is a clear demonstration that our allies continue to stand strong with Ukraine and help us bring victory closer."
