Weapons, a field hospital and soldier training: Estonia is going to increase military aid to Ukraine
Estonia plans to increase military aid to Ukraine.
What we know
The Estonian national broadcaster ERR reports this. The new package will include more weapons. For example, mortars, anti-tank weapons, etc. In addition, Estonia is going to give Ukraine another military hospital, as well as to train Ukrainian soldiers in Britain.
"Military activity in Ukraine is still intense, and although more and more Western weapons are entering the battlefield, it is our moral obligation to continue to support Ukraine. Ukraine is fighting for our common values, and if we still have weapons to send to the Ukrainians, we should do so," Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said.
Earlier Estonia transferred to Ukraine 155-mm FH70 howitzers, Javelin anti-tank systems, grenade launchers and many more. The total amount of supplies is estimated at 250 000 000 euros.
