The AFU is already using M982 Excalibur high-precision shells with M777A2 howitzers at the front (but this is not certain)

In July, it was reported that the Ukrainian military was learning in Germany to use M777A2 howitzers with high-precision M982 Excalibur rounds. It seems that they are already working at the battlefront.

What we known

Military analysts @UAWeapons published a video showing how the AFU destroyed two entrenched Russian KAMAZ-63501AT artillery trucks and a dugout with aimed fire.

Analysts cannot confirm that the M982 Excalibur was used in the video, but judging by the high accuracy, explosion pattern, strength and type of equipment (artillery trucks are usually located far away from front lines) it was guided artillery at long range.

Recall, 1,000 M982 Excalibur shells were transferred to Ukraine by the United States.
