Here's What We Know
As it turned out, the Russians brought an upgraded T-72B3M tank to Ukraine. There are several of the kind, which were created preferably for exhibitions of military equipment and for tank biathlon. By the way, the tank biathlon is formally considered an international competition, but only the states friendly to Russia take part in it. For example, Iran, Sudan, Mali or Myanmar.
The modified version received a 1.130 hp engine and automatic transmission. By comparison, the regular T-72B3 has 300 hp less. The tank is equipped with a panoramic sight with laser rangefinder and thermal imager. The fighting vehicle is produced by the Russian company Uralvagonzavod.
