Once yours, now ours: Estonia handed over to the AFU the drones that a Russian trucker bought for his army
Remember in July we told you about the arrest in Estonia of a trucker who was buying drones for the Russian army? Well, this story continued.
Here's What We Know
According to the Estonian Embassy in Ukraine, the local police not only sent the Russian trucker to jail, but also confiscated the drones he bought. As a result, they were handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Judging by the photo, we are talking about DJI Mini 2 quadcopters.
In case you didn't know, the 43-year-old Russian trucker Vladimir was sentenced to one year in prison. Of those, he will spend four months behind bars, and eight months will be commuted to probation with a four-year probationary period. By the way, in addition to Vladimir, the court also punished two men who threw money to buy drones. They were given a five-month suspended sentence.
