Zaluzhny told about shooting down 9 out of 11 kamikaze drones Shahed-136 in Ukraine: much credit to Poland
Today, Russia continued to attack Ukrainian cities, both with missiles and Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. According to Valery Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during two days (October 10 and 11) the calculations of the anti-aircraft missile division shot down 9 out of 11 enemy UAVs.
"This is the result of quality training of our anti-aircraft gunners conducted by their Polish brethren. It was Poland that provided the complexes from which the Ukrainians shoot down Iranian drones launched by the Russians with Soviet missiles. This is the reality of today's war. Thanks to our Polish brothers!" - Zaluzhny wrote in his Telegram channel.
The total number of downed drones is much more: according to the Air Force Command of the AFU, as of 13:30 on October 11, 20 cruise missiles and 13 Shahed-136 UAVs have already been shot down.
