Russia still has not been able to destroy a single HIMARS in Ukraine - Politico
Russian propagandists and government officials have repeatedly stated that a significant number of HIMARS have been destroyed in Ukraine. However (who would doubt it) all this talk turned out to be just empty words.
Here's What We Know
The Pentagon says that in fact Russia has not managed to destroy a single HIMARS, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently using. Politico reports this, citing a high-ranking Defense Department official who asked not to be named in order to give a frank assessment of the war.
However, Ukraine still needs a large amount of artillery. According to the official, the rate of consumption in this war is high: by comparison, Ukraine produces 4,000 to 7,000 artillery shells each day, while Russia produces 20,000 per day.
