On November 11, United24 began raising money to build the world's first marine drone fleet. The fundraising campaign is progressing well.

Here's What We Know

On the morning of November 12, Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported that they managed to raise ₴120 million ($3.28 million) in one day. In particular, ₴29 million ($0.79 million) was transferred by volunteer Igor Lachenkov.

However, it is not specified whether this amount includes the money raised for Ukraine by the residents of Lithuania. Journalist Andrius Tapinas reported that Lithuanians collected $250,000 for drones.

The cost of one kamikaze drone will be ₴10 million ($270,000). That means United24 has raised funds to build 12 drones in just 24 hours. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine wants to have a fleet consisting of hundreds of kamikaze drones.
