In 2022, the AFU shot down 453 Russian missiles and 85 kamikaze drones that attacked energy infrastructure

Ukraine's air defense forces repelled attacks on energy infrastructure with more than 75% efficiency. YASNO statistics cover the period from February 24 to December 30, 2022.

Here's What We Know

From February to September, Russia carried out 34 strikes on energy infrastructure. The number of attacks increased sharply from October 10, two days after the bombing of the Crimean bridge.

In the three weeks of October, Russia carried out 69 strikes against Ukraine's energy infrastructure using kamikaze drones and missiles. In November, 34, and in December (December 1-30), 27.

The defense forces repelled the attacks with 76.4% efficiency. A total of 453 of 609 missiles (74.4%) and 85 of 95 Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones (89.5%) were destroyed.
