Germany will allocate 20 million euros to finance Starlink services in Ukraine

Today, December 10, Annalena Baerbock, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany visited Ukraine, more precisely the city of Kharkiv. And she did not come empty-handed.

Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs announced the allocation of 20 million euros to Ukraine. This money will go to pay for the satellite Internet Starlink.

"Ukraine has asked Germany to help finance the Starlink satellite channel. Foreign Minister Berbock announced today that Germany will allocate 20 million euros for this purpose," reported the press service of the German Foreign Ministry.

With this money Germany will finance 10 thousand terminals Starlink in Ukraine. One third of them will be handed over to the AFU military.

"Real-time communication will allow Ukrainian soldiers to clearly coordinate their actions when defending the homeland and better defend themselves against Russian attacks," the German Foreign Ministry stressed.
