The UK denied information about the transfer of Apache AH64 E attack helicopters to Ukraine
The Mirror reported on 14 January that the UK was going to hand Ukraine Apache AH64 E attack helicopters. Citing its source, the media wrote that Ukraine would first receive the promised tanks and then the helicopters, after which other NATO members would follow suit. Unfortunately, this information turned out to be untrue.
Here's What We Know
Journalists from other UK publications decided to check this information and contacted the Ministry of Defense. Representatives of the ministry denied the information about the transfer of Apache AH64 E helicopters to Ukraine and stressed that it was incorrect.
After that, the Mirror removed the article and now it is not on its website.
However, it is officially confirmed that the UK will transfer Challenger 2 tanks and 30 AS-90 self-propelled 155mm howitzers to Ukraine.
