Avenger air defense systems, Bradley and Stryker combat vehicles, ammunition for NASAMS and HIMARS: the U.S. announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine

The US Department of Defense has confirmed another large-scale military aid package to Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

According to this package, Ukraine will receive arms worth $2.5 billion. Here is a complete list of what is included in the new package:

  • 8 air defense systems (air defense systems) Avenger
  • 59 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) with 590 TOW anti-tank missiles and 295,000 rounds of 25 mm ammunition
  • 90 Stryker armored personnel carriers (APCs) with 20 mine rollers
  • 53 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicles
  • 350 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs)
  • Additional ammunition for NASAMS advanced surface-to-air missile systems and HIMARS artillery systems
  • 20,000 155mm artillery rounds
  • Approximately 600 high-precision 155 mm artillery rounds
  • 95,000 105 mm artillery rounds
  • Approximately 11,800 rounds of 120 mm mortar rounds
  • 12 ammunition support vehicles
  • 6 command and control vehicles
  • 22 tactical armament towing vehicles
  • High-speed HARM anti-radar missiles
  • Approximately 2,000 anti-tank missiles
  • More than 3,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition
  • Demolition equipment for obstacle clearance
  • Claymore anti-personnel ammunition
  • Night vision goggles
