In mid-October, the UNITED24 Foundation, Monobank and volunteer Igor Lachenkov started raising funds for the purchase of "Shahed catchers" - the code name for the anti-UAV system, which is in service with NATO countries. And now the "catchers" have finally arrived in Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, a total of 6 systems of counteraction against enemy drones have been purchased. These are radar and signal jamming complexes that help identify and block enemy UAVs and release their drones. The Fortem DroneHunter F700 is an autonomous radar-guided drone with artificial intelligence that flies at over 100km/h, intercepting and landing drones.

"Shahed catchers" will protect Ukraine's energy facilities from enemy drones.

The ministry also showed the training of operators at the range.
