Denmark will study possibility of transferring F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine

Denmark is open to discuss deliveries of fourth generation F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to Ukraine. This was reported by Sky News citing Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

Here's What We Know

The defence minister said that at a certain stage Denmark would be ready to consider providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with fighter aircraft. There is no information about the timing and quantity.

A total of 77 fourth generation fighters have been purchased by Denmark from the United States since the 1970s. Approximately 30 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters are now in service with the air force.
