Serhiy Prytula has bought 101 FV103 Spartan, FV104 Samaritan, FV105 Sultan, Stormer, Shielder, FV432 Bulldog, FV434 and FV106 Samson armoured personnel carriers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces for $6.4m
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon start receiving armoured personnel carriers purchased by the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation. The first batch has already arrived in Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
Late last year Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation launched a fundraising campaign for FV103 armoured personnel carriers. In less than two days, Ukrainians transferred ₴236 million ($6.4 million) to the charity's accounts.
The sum was enough to purchase 101 armored vehicles (8 models). According to Serhiy Pritula, this is the largest batch of armoured vehicles that has been purchased by the people.
In addition to FV103 Spartan, the charitable foundation ordered FV104 Samaritan, FV105 Sultan, Stormer, Shielder, FV432 Bulldog, FV434, FV106 Samson. The first batch of 24 armoured vehicles has already arrived in Ukraine and is being prepared for shipment to the frontline.
