Here's What We Know
The Slovak defence minister has expressed readiness to send Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, if it is absolutely jointly with Poland. Jaroslav Nad’ added that Bratislava and Warsaw were able to make progress on this issue.
Talks that Ukraine could receive some Slovakian fighters began last year. At the end of the summer, the Slovak Air Force decommissioned 11 planes. One MiG-29 will go to a museum, while the rest may go to Ukraine.
