Norway transfers 8 Leopard 2A4 tanks and other military equipment to Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces yesterday received Norwegian Leopard 2A4 tanks. This was reported by the press service of the Norwegian Armed Forces.

8 Leopard 2AA tanks have been delivered to Ukraine. They were accompanied by two Bergepanzer 2 armoured recovery vehicles, two NM189 Ingeniorpanservogn engineer vehicles and an all-terrain vehicle-based counter-battery radar.

The Norwegian military has confirmed that the equipment has already arrived in Ukraine. An Antonov Airlines An-124-100M aircraft was used for the delivery. Norway has also allocated $24.5 million for the purchase of spare parts for tanks and ammunition.
