Ukrainian R18 drone destroys Russian T-72B tank worth $2m

The R18 drones continue to prove their effectiveness in destroying Russian armoured vehicles. This time the drone has eliminated a T-72B tank.

At the end of last year we wrote how the R18 threw grenades at a modern Russian T-90M tank, which can cost up to $5 million depending on the level of upgrade. Now a video has emerged of the liquidation of a $2m T-72B tank.

The video was published by a representative of Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation. According to him, the cost of the R18 drone complex is $55,000. How many drones are included in the complex is not specified, but it is likely to be two or three units.

The developer of the strike drone is Aerorozvidka. In September 2022 a Ukrainian non-profit organisation claimed that R18 drones destroyed $130m worth of Russian military equipment. Naturally, this amount has increased in more than six months. So, waiting for a new report.
