The two chambers of the Swiss parliament have approved the supply of arms, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine.

The Arms Act previously banned the transfer of arms and ammunition from Switzerland to third countries, but an amendment passed on May 12 will allow friendly states to support Ukraine with much-needed Swiss-made ammunition and equipment.
