UK officially confirms Ukraine's use of long-range Storm Shadow missiles

A few days ago, CNN claimed that Ukraine had begun using long-range Storm Shadow missiles. This information has now been officially confirmed.

UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has confirmed the use of the new missiles by the Ukrainian Air Force. However, the head of the ministry did not say what targets were hit.

The UK officially confirmed the transfer of Storm Shadow to Ukraine on 11 May. The missile has a launch range of up to 1,000 km, but the Ukrainian Air Force probably received an export version of the munition. It is capable of hitting targets at a distance of about 250 km.
