Russians urgently evacuate tactical nuclear weapons after Russian Volunteer Corps starts operation in Belgorod region
On May 22, the Russian Volunteer Corps, which fights on the side of Ukraine, launched an operation on the territory of the Russian Federation. A representative of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry's main intelligence directorate, Andriy Yusov, commented on the situation.

Information about the operation on the territory of the Belgorod region initially appeared in social networks. Andriy Yusov confirmed it, but noted that it was an internal conflict. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not taking part in the operation. Only citizens of the Russian Federation are working there.
The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence added that there was "a lot of truth" in the information about the evacuation of residents and the destruction of the Russian Mi-8 helicopter. In addition, the Russian military decided to urgently remove the nuclear munitions at the Belgorod-22 site. Yusov confirmed that tactical nuclear weapons were stored there.
