100% accurate - Storm Shadow missiles with a range of over 250km effectively destroy Russian military targets far behind the front lines

The Ukrainian Armed Forces received so-called "long-range capabilities" this spring. The long-range capability was provided by the UK, which redesigned the Storm Shadow missiles. They immediately demonstrated their effectiveness.

Since receiving the "square" missiles, there has been a dramatic increase in strikes against Russian military targets far behind the front lines. Storm Shadow has a range of over 250km, but so far it is not known exactly which version of the missile Ukraine has received.

In any case, even the export version with a range of 260 km is enough to hit targets in the territory temporarily occupied by the Russian federation. Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that every Storm Shadow launch ended up destroying the target. So far, the British missiles demonstrate 100% accuracy.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces use Su-24MR frontline aircraft to launch the missiles. MiG-29 fighters cannot be Storm Shadow carriers because of the heavy weight of the cruise missiles.

Ukraine may receive even more long-range weapons in the future. In particular, France has a Storm Shadow counterpart called SCALP EG, and an official request has already been sent to Germany for the Taurus.
