Ukraine loses less than 10 per cent of Western military equipment in fighting - Estonian intelligence
While Russian propaganda continues to talk about dozens and even hundreds of tanks, air defence systems and other weapons destroyed in Ukraine, Estonian intelligence has shared its data.
Here's What It Costs
Colonel Margo Grosberg, head of the Estonian Defence Intelligence Centre (EDF), said Ukraine has lost less than 10 per cent of the Western equipment it received so far.
Western-made equipment tends to protect its operators and crews better, he said, which means that even if it fails, the military often survives without serious injury.
Colonel Grosberg also added that the Ukrainian units prepared for the counteroffensive in the past six months have not yet been engaged in combat, and the loss of equipment is an inevitable consequence of all offensives. Therefore, the number of destroyed equipment will obviously increase as a result of the counter-offensive.
