The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been able to destroy Russia's remote minesweeping engineering system Zemledeliye. It is a fairly new weapon whose final tests were completed in 2020. In the same year, the Russian army began accepting the Zemledeliye into service.

Here's What We Know

The Ukrainian Defence Forces first announced the elimination of the Zemledeliye system in the first quarter of 2023. But this time the elimination of the mining engineering system was first shown on video in relatively good quality.

The video was published by the Army's competent aid foundation, Back and Alive. The description states that the strike was carried out by fighters of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. A Ukrainian-made Leleka-100 unmanned aerial vehicle was used to correct the fire.

The Zemledeliye system is designed to rapidly create minefields at a distance of 5-15km. The launcher fires rocket-propelled grenades, which ensure the planting of the mines. It engages projectiles of 122mm calibre, like the Tornado-G and Grad multiple rocket launchers.
