Ukrainian FPV drones hit Russian modernised T-90M tank worth $2.5m or more
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have hit another Russian modernised T-90M tank. Once again, drones were used, which cost thousands of times cheaper than a combat vehicle.
Here's What We Know
This time the Special Operations Forces managed to hit the most modern Russian tank (of those involved in the war). FPV drones costing $300-1000 a piece successfully hit the tank, which has an export price of $2.5-4.3 million depending on the level of modernisation.
This month we have already written twice about the T-90M tanks. The day before, there was a story about how a drone of the National Guard of Ukraine threw grenades at a Russian combat vehicle.
Last week the tank was destroyed by an American howitzer M109A6 Paladin. Fighters from the 47th separate mechanised brigade are believed to have used a German SMArt 155 shell worth approximately $100,000.
