On the night of 29-30 August, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on Ukrainian territory. Thanks to the Ukrainian air defence system, almost all aerial targets were shot down.
Here's What We Know
According to the information of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valeriy Zaluzhny, a total of 44 aerial targets were fired at Ukraine. Of these, 28 were air-launched missiles of the Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 type. They were fired from 11 Tu-95ms strategic aviation aircraft from the Caspian Sea and Engels area. The rest were 16 Shahed-136/131 type strike UAVs from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk).
Thanks to air defence forces, all 28 cruise missiles and 15 attack drones within the Kyiv, Cherkassy, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions were destroyed.
